Spring Lake Boardwalk after Hurricane Irene
Irene destroyed sections of the Spring Lake Boardwalk. Some of this boardwalk was built in 1937 by the WPA.

It started as a deceptively simple walk through the woods. Eventually it became a scramble over rocks. Finally it became a steep climb to the summit.
